Dear Member / Prospective Member,

The Executive Committee of African American Real Estate Professionals (AAREP) of Washington, DC is pleased to welcome you back to the organization. As a 13-year old organization, we are proud of our accomplishments as one of the only African American commercial real estate organizations in the nation. We owe much to our membership and those who have worked hard to make AAREP the success it is today.

Over the past few years, AAREP has hosted our opening reception where more than 200 guests were in attendance, and we’ve held thoughtful and substantive lunch and evening programs each month to captive audiences. Also, we have successfully launched our new bi-weekly publication, The News Blast, which offers quick updates on real estate news, articles featuring our past presidents and members, a listing of upcoming AAREP and other real estate organization events, and more. And, we have developed a commercial real estate internship program which was launched in January 2005. We upgraded our website; our goal is to deliver sustainable benefits to our active members this year, and in years to come!

As we continue this momentous year, we would like to share with you the rewarding and exciting benefits and programs that are in store for our members. We would also like to seek your continued support as we strive to build upon the legacy of the past 13 years.
